Mega Millions Ticket Wins Estimated $94 Million Jackpot

One ticket matched all six Mega Millions numbers in the Tuesday, May 16, 2006 drawing, and now players are checking their tickets to see who won the estimated $94 million jackpot. The jackpot-winning ticket, which was purchased in El Paso, Texas, matched the numbers 7-24-40-48-50 and the Mega Ball number 15.But the holder of that winning ticket is not the only Mega Millions winner in Tuesday's drawing. Nearly 650,000 tickets won prizes ranging from $2 all the way up to the jackpot. That includes 10 tickets that each won $250,000. Those tickets were sold in California (3), Georgia (2), New Jersey (1), New York (1), Ohio (2) and Virginia (1).
